Air-cooled chillers, also known as air-cooled packaged industrial chiller units, are high-efficiency cooling devices that use an air-cooled heat dissipation design. Dingyuan air-cooled chillers draw in ambient air through built-in fans and effectively dissipate the heat generated by the system to the external environment via the condenser, achieving overall cooling. Compared to water-cooled systems, they do not require an external water source, making installation simple and maintenance costs low, which is especially suitable for spaces with limited room or where a stable supply of cooling water is not available. They are suitable for applications with relatively small heat loads; although they are affected by environmental temperature and humidity, their flexibility and convenience make them popular across various industrial sectors. All models are equipped with multiple safety features such as motor overload protection, phase loss/reversal alarms, anti-freeze thermostats, and pressure gauges to ensure stable operation. Based on the principle of heat exchange, they complete an efficient cooling cycle, with chilled water temperatures stably controlled between 3°C and 50°C and temperature variations maintained within ±0.1°C, meeting high-precision temperature control requirements. They are widely used in industries such as plastic molding, electronics manufacturing, packaging, medical, and chemical industries, becoming an important part of modern industrial cooling systems.

Industry Applications:
Chillers are widely used in various industrial fields such as plastics, electronics manufacturing, electroplating, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, ultrasonic cleaning, and printing. Especially in the plastic molding process, chillers can be used to cool molds, effectively improving the surface finish of products, reducing surface defects and internal stress, preventing shrinkage and deformation, enhancing demolding efficiency, and speeding up the setting process, thereby significantly increasing production efficiency and product quality.

Scroll Compressor
The entire series of Dingyuan air-cooled chillers is equipped with high-performance scroll compressors as standard. As the core component of the entire refrigeration cycle system, the scroll compressor offers excellent stability and reliability.
This compressor adopts an advanced "dual-flex design," allowing automatic adjustment in both axial and radial directions, effectively ensuring the sealing between the scroll plates. This structural design permits small debris or liquid refrigerant to pass through during compression without damaging the compressor, significantly enhancing its resistance to liquid impact and impurities.

Shell-and-Tube Evaporator
The air-cooled chiller uses a high-efficiency shell-and-tube evaporator, where the refrigerant evaporates inside the heat exchange copper tubes while water flows on the outside of the shell. To improve heat exchange efficiency, we have added a layer of approximately 2mm thick baffle inside the shell, causing the cooling water to flow back and forth, thereby enhancing heat transfer efficiency and achieving the effect of producing brine water.
The exterior of the shell is wrapped with high-performance insulation cotton to reduce energy loss and ensure stable system operation and consistent temperature.
The evaporator uses high-efficiency seamless copper heat exchange tubes. The copper tubes undergo precise 'Yuhua' processing, forming a threaded rib structure on the inner wall, which significantly increases the heat transfer area between the refrigerant and the copper tube. Compared to traditional smooth tubes, this structure doubles the heat exchange area, greatly improving overall heat transfer efficiency and refrigeration performance.

Finned Condenser
Air-cooled chillers use condensers with high-efficiency copper tubes paired with aluminum fins, significantly enhancing the system's heat dissipation capacity. The aluminum fins greatly increase the heat exchange surface area between the condenser and the air, thereby accelerating heat transfer and dissipation efficiency.
High-quality copper tubes have excellent thermal conductivity, and combined with the high-efficiency heat dissipation characteristics of aluminum fins, they ensure that the heat from the refrigerant can be quickly released during the condensation process, effectively improving overall cooling efficiency.
Additionally, the condenser surfaces use hydrophilic aluminum foil and blue-coated aluminum fins, which can effectively prevent condensation water from stagnating and offer certain corrosion resistance, thereby extending the condenser's service life and ensuring long-term stable operation of the system while consistently maintaining good cooling performance.
